HOW TO BACKUP TO iPHONE

Backup is very important. It keeps our files secure. When you have a phone, you can take photos, upload documents, etc. and you can lose them by accidental deletion, forced phone reset, theft, etc. That’s why it is necessary to make a daily backup.

Two ways to make a backup. From iPhone to iCloud and iPhone connected by cable to Mac.

Backup iPhone to iCloud 

To make a backup, go to “Settings”, open your “Apple ID” and “iCloud”.

If you have already enabled iCloud backup when you add something (picture example) to your phone, it automatically makes the backup. But if you don’t, click “Backup Now”.

 

  1. Connect your iPhone to a Wi-Fi network.
  2. Go to Settings => Your iCloud account (here "Reznov SS")
  3. Tap Backup iCloud.
  4. Save now. Don't disconnected to the Wi-Fi network until the backup be complete.

 

Think to active the iCloud backup (if you Want and it's recommended).

To do it:

  1. Settings => iCloud => iCloud Backup.
  2. Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.
  3. Lock the device screen

Backup from iPhone connected by cable to Mac.

Backup with iTunes

  1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac
  2. Unlock the phone.
  3. Open iTunes and select your phone. In the “Summary”, you have a “Backup” window. Here, you can choose how to make the backup. You have two options: iCloud or this computer. You can save your files to the computer or update them to your iCloud account. After clicking “Done”.
  4. To be sure that the Backup is done look the date and time of your last backup.

Backup with Finder

With Mac running with Catalina OS or later version 

  1. Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Allow your computer to have access to your iPhone
  3. Tap on Backup Now
  4. Check the Backup is done to looking the date and time of your last backup.
